Functions of the patio heater
The heater is equipped with a Solar Star LowGlare lamp, so the heater emits very little light. This light has a lifespan of approximately 6000 hours.
This heater is equipped with an on/off button. This only switches the heater on at full power. Because the device is modular, a dimmer module can easily be connected to it. This is attached to the appliance and connected directly to the heating element. You can then operate the dimming module with a remote control with which you can continuously dim the heating element.
Attachment of the patio heater
To connect and hang the patio heater, you need a free 16A power group. In addition, the device requires a 230 Volt connection. A 180 centimeter long plug cable is attached to the patio heater. With this cable you can connect the patio heater directly. It is therefore advisable to provide a socket near the patio heater in advance.
Heated surface
The Solamagic Patio Heater S1+ 1400W is suitable for an area of approximately 6 square meters. This is an area of approximately 2.5 by 2.5 meters. This takes into account a maximum suspension height of 2.1 meters. Every situation is different and the heated surface may vary due to weather conditions, mounting height, etc.
Use of the heater
Because it uses short-wave radiation, this patio heater is ideal for both open and closed spaces. The patio heater is IP44 protected and can therefore also be hung outside. It can withstand splashing water. The patio heater cannot withstand heavy rainfall (downpour) and can therefore not be hung outdoors.
