This sliding bearing hinge is made of stainless steel and is subsequently brushed, giving it a matte appearance. The hinge has rounded corners and a continuous button. This means that the knot (the pivot point of the hinge) is placed off center, so that recessing for the knot in the frame is not necessary. In addition, the sliding bearing hinge requires little maintenance, due to the self-lubricating properties of the plastic sliding bearing.
