This barrel lock works on the basis of magnetism. When closing the door, the latch is pulled out by magnets, causing the door to lock. The door is simply opened with the door handle, but when it is opened, the latch no longer protrudes. This not only ensures a sleek finish, it also prevents damage to the frame or from accidentally getting caught on it.
