Rust Process and Maintenance

This process can be accelerated to 2 to 3 weeks with a rust accelerator, available at the bottom of this page for recommended combinations. To prevent further rust deposits, we recommend applying a rust fixer after completing the rust process, also available from us.
Planting advice
For optimal planting in Corten steel planters, we recommend using pebbles instead of hydro granules. Fill the container with a layer of pebbles about 10 cm high and cover it with a moisture-permeable anti-root cloth. Make sure that the cloth is raised at least 10 cm at the edges. Then cover the cloth with an airy soil mixture that is tailored to the planting. Please note: do not tamp the soil to prevent damage to the container.
